But don’t worry. I promise you won’t receive a portrait of me!
Instead, I will put my passion, energy, and love into every drawing, capturing the personality and emotions of your loved ones so they can truly come to life on paper.
How to Commission a Portrait
Your custom portrait can be created in either pencil or charcoal, and is available in a variety of sizes.
1. ORDER YOUR PORTRAITS
Think about your preferred style (pencil or charcoal) and the size you would like. Send me your ideas, wishes, or any questions at info@maraandart.com.
Together, we will discuss the details, agree on the timeline, and choose the best option for your portrait.
2. PORTRAIT CREATION
A beautiful portrait begins with a high-quality photograph. For the best result, please choose a clear, high-resolution photo taken close enough for me to capture the unique details and expressions of the face. Once I receive your photograph and payment, I will begin creating your portrait.
Throughout the process, I will keep you updated on my progress (I will contact you at least once during the creation process). You will have the opportunity to share your thoughts and request any small adjustments to make sure the final artwork feels just right.
3. SHIPPING OF PORTRAIT
When your portrait is complete and you are happy with the result, we will arrange delivery (shipping by post). Please note that framing is not included and should be arranged separately.

I am not registered for VAT under Article 94(1) of the Slovenian VAT Act (ZDDV-1), therefore VAT is not charged on the invoice.
Prices include international shipping.
Portraits featuring more than five people, different sizes, or any other special requests can be arranged individually.
